History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He worked as a nervous Sellsword and found it very stressful. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the north. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He disdains his fellow northerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. A gifted student he started as a Mercenary, but he got bored and became a Engraver. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Roland fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
