Description: This younger middle-aged man wears well tailored suits and hats with beautiful decoration. He is almost always dressed for an outing in high society, and a wedding ring on his right hand. His red hair is styled in orderly dreadlocks. This gray eyed northerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. A true patriot, Gilbert would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Gilbert was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and his religion dominates his actions

Description: This man is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. He has a penchant for wearing a ring with an oversized amber on his right hand. His hair is white, silky, and of moderate length. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: Bertram is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. Bertram is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He has since lost track of the people in his past.
