History: Charles was born the youngest of three triplets. At a young age his mother died while driving off some brigands. His father being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in shield use. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his father. His parents were killed by goblins in a raid when he was still a young child. The goblins captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Revenge; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Shoemaker who has hired him part-time. Hugh enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the west. His childhood dream was to be a Guard, but he was a colossal failure. He tends to his Shoemaker job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: To be a Guard again; and he wants revenge against brigands

Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. A gifted student he started as a Farmer, but he got bored and became a Ruler. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
