His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Sailor.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he desires power and/or immortality
