History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His parents were killed by goblins in a raid when he was still a young child. The goblins captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by goblins. Roger was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the goblins.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his father. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Sellsword hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He has passion for adventuring and risk; and he desires power and/or immortality

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: He was born into a rich family. John abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and wants to work out more often
