In his 13th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. After a long history of fighting, Kody and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: To settle down with his crush.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Beggar arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Shane liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: He hates Humans with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: He got into the Spice Merchant business at a young age. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Spice Merchant and was forced into it by his family; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. Everard is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He tends to his Soapmaker job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: He feels threatened by others; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion
