History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Roger alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls.
