Through the years after Theodoric was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Theodoric's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: He was born in the east. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life; and he is greedy
