Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when he was still a young child. The dire rats captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: He comes from a rich western family. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He has achieved small success as a Map Maker.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter; and sabotage a competitor

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His parents enrolled him in a Fighter school at a young age so that he could practice his psionic talents. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Tailor.

Description: This fat western man has a bulbous nose and wears green robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a bastard sword, but if one is not available he will default to his longsword. His skin is also unnaturally pale. His black hair, when down, is lengthy. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Conrad embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Conrad was born the youngest of three triplets. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

He has a white handlebar mustache and slicked back white hair. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. Simon enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
