His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it
