History: He was raised in a island tribe. His mother took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature halberd.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. At a young age his mother died while driving off some dire rats. His father being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in greatsword use. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Lance fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. Ostracized due to the martial powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle.
