Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the west. He is a great chef.

History: Randal was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He worked as a nervous Layabout and found it very stressful. Some 8 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Randal never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear; and wants to open a new tavern

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Layabout. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Layabout but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Layabout. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
