Through the years after Dean was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Dean's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Dean and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and he desires power and/or immortality

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his father. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He has worked as a Interpreter like his father before him.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: He got into the Bather business at a young age. Through the years after Simon was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Simon's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: He's attracted to the PC; and balancing his hectic life and new bather responsibilities is difficult
