He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His parents were killed by gnolls in a raid when he was still a young child. The gnolls captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. After coming to the age of reason, William took it upon himself to study the arcane arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland.
