John Dryden, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: The man speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. He seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if he got out from a pool a few moments ago. He is renowned for his bright blue suits and hats. His silver hair is greasy and uncared for. This blue eyed northerner is not easily forgotten.
Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.
History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He found a children's book about a Human Bard who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion
Flaws: Ugly, Cynical, Insane. Bonds: Immigrant, Adventurer, Slave. Occupation: Tailor
Voice: Forgets to breathe while speaking

Kody Budd, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: He wears clothing that is held on in multiple layers but all of it is in poor condition. He cuts an attractive figure and his suit of old armor is well cared for even if it is obsolete. With a patchy white beard and wild white hair. His eyes are a pleasant green.
Personality: Kody wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Fighter, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of gnolls may trigger it at times.
History: Kody was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Performer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Kody was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the gnolls.
