Description: This man is dressed in earthy colors with a brown and grey handkerchief worn on his left side, and sports empty pouches on his belt. His blonde hair is braided into rings. He has gleaming, smiling blue eyes.
Personality: He is happy with his job as a Bookbinder. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.
History: Bertram was raised in a hard working conservative environment. In his youth he was a Soapmaker, and wanted to be a champion fighter when he grew up. He was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives he lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. He saw the brutality and swore off his fighting aspirations, taking his younger sister on his back after seeing his parents die, and fled the country. He tends to his Bookbinder job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.
Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and to share knowledge with the world

Description: This exceptionally lanky man wears tight fighting clothing, which leaves very little to the imagination. He wears a small hat to hide his balding. He wears large thick round spectacles.
Personality: Theobald speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.
History: Gifted from a young age, Theobald studied abroad. Ostracized due to the divine powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Theobald fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world.

History: He was born at the edge of vast island. Ostracized due to the psionic powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He was granted psionic powers by his dying brother.

Description: 5'1" and lanky with angular features, he is an attractive figure. He is dressed in a clean white cloak covering his clean studded leather. His hair is short and chestnut. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.
Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.
History: Trey hails from a village terrorized by illithids. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Trey fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: To unite with his brother; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother

Description: He is a pot bellied eastern man with a big hulking figure and broad shoulders. He wears skinny pants and wears a pastel and tan robe with the hood down. His white hair is singed and shortened. His blue eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.
Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.
History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Arnold grew up listening to his father's many stories. His parents were killed by giants in a raid when he was still a young child. The giants captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has dedicated himself to building a better trade route.
Motivation: He has passion for adventuring and risk; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
