When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: Richard was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He has achieved small success as a Marshal.
