History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Anselm was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.
