Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Gerard embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Gerard alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by orcs. Gerard was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the orcs.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. In his 12th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: He is wracked by social anxiety.

Voice: Pronounces 'its' and 'is' like 'eats' and 'ease'

Personality: This man loves painting and to teach people painting more than just about anything. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He has never given up on his painting dream.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Human people.

Personality: He is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, he's a very lovable idiot. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his father. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Miller hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and wants to have a good time and be beloved

He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Detective but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: He was raised in a forest tribe. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Detective for the past few years.

Motivation: To be a Courier again; and balancing his hectic life and new detective responsibilities is difficult
