History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Theobald alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it
