History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He always admired psionic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. Some 2 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Norman never married again. History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving William alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.
