Personality: Frederick is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He is obsessed with his god.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his mother's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered giants who tried to eat his hand. After months of barely getting by, Frederick managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, he made his way to the capital under a new identity.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. His childhood dream was to be a Bookbinder, but he was a colossal failure. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: To be a Bookbinder again; and sabotage a competitor

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. A gifted student he started as a Bricklayer, but he got bored and became a Stylist. He's also a talented Bricklayer, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing writing.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and money/treasure

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.

History: Clerebold lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. After a long history of fighting, Clerebold and his spouse have recently divorced.
