History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

History: Born to a Dyer, his mother struggled to pay the bills. He always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He was granted martial powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

History: He is a Jackalwere in disguise. His parents enrolled him in a Monk school at a young age so that he could practice his psionic talents. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.
