History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and wants to work out more often

Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, brigands burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying north to reunite his family. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge
