History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. After a long history of fighting, John and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: Hugh lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: A child with a great deal of singing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and an old rival family wants him found
