Description: His skin has the orange glow of too much sun. He wears a brown Stetson hat and brown clothes. His golden hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are brown.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: Lance lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Layabout work with an outfit from a few towns over. Layabout work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Brewer they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Layabout, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Conrad has worked very hard to control his curse. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Personality: He is envious of other's things. He hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that he so desires. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He found a children's book about a Human Wizard who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Sailor hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life.

Description: A thin man, he clearly needs to put on some weight, but he still has a lot of muscle. He does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His blue unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Trym lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage.
