History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Lance was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by orcs. Lance was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the orcs.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and many orcs want him driven away

History: He was born in the east. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Dustin's homeland. Dustin decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Dustin fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. Hugh is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and an old rival family wants him found

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Spy who has hired him part-time. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. Cory liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: Wants his loneliness to end; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion
