Description: This late middle aged man dresses in brown turtlenecks beneath a violet coat with blue slacks and is in decent physical shape. He has done his best to style his brown hair to look like a famous performer. He is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He invites people to come help in his community garden.

History: The child of a Masseuse, who enjoyed hunting, Alex was taken on many hunting expeditions. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Map Maker. He became a Map Maker soon after.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Map Maker responsibilities is difficult.

History: He was born into a rich family. A freak accident while working with his Dilettante father left him crippled. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his writing with anyone who is interested.

History: Born in the north to a Baker, Theobald learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He now owns his own business.
