Gerald Walcott, Male Human [Permalink]

Personal [hide]

Description: He is wearing a long, brown cloak. He has a moderate pudge and is not very fit. His red hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Map Maker profession.

History: His druidic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He bought a quarterstaff and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his mother.

History: Charles was born in the east. At a young age he loved to build and create. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Lance Shelley, Male Human [Permalink]

Personal [hide]

Description: This man wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. He conceals his quarterstaff with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt. He is muscular with a powerful set of arms. His long auburn hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. His amber eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: He was born at the edge of vast forest. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and he's in love

Patrick Adley, Male Human [Permalink]

Personal [hide]

Description: A man of a pale complexion, he wears rags and sports a simple walking cane. His hair is always cut to a buzz. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Cook work with an outfit from a few towns over. Cook work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Many goblins want him driven away.

Flaws: Antagonistic. Bonds: Poor, Enemies, Immigrant, Job. Occupation: Cook

Roger Rutland, Male Human [Permalink]

Personal [hide]

Description: Dark and lean, he is a relatively plain man. He wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty green coat over it. His hair is cut close to his head. His eyes are green and catlike.

Personality: He is envious of other's things. He hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that he so desires. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a old dungeon. He would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Roger took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up pickaxe and armor he uses now. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
