History: John hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered painting. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. John was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

Motivation: Many dire rats want him driven away; and he wants revenge against dire rats

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Hunter has worked very hard to control his curse. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: Miles lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.
