Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Richard isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Human unity. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: He got into the Beggar business at a young age. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the desert to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Richard took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up monstrous two handed axe and armor he uses now. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Born in the east to a Brewer, Gerald learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Brewer.

He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.
