History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He worked as a nervous Carpenter and found it very stressful. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: He wants revenge against illithids; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Chad fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
