History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Some 2 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Rolf never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. In his 13th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Norman was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he desires power and/or immortality

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: He was born in a small island village. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and he is greedy

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: He got into the Assassin business at a young age. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father.
