He is bald on top and has large silver tufts of hair around his ears. His eyes are likewise brown. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He has all his life been fascinated with writing.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and retire the richest man in the east

Description: A moderately attractive man, he wears a custom-built plate barding that's adorned with black lining and desert motifs. His silver hair is drawn into a tight pony tail with a dagger scrunchie. He has gleaming, smiling brown eyes.

Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing writing.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He has never given up on his writing dream.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge.

Description: His right side is far more bruised and cut up than his other. He usually wears his black robe and has his flail always slung over his shoulder. His white hair, when down, is lengthy. He has several tiny ruby earrings on each ear.

Personality: Kody is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. Kody liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has dedicated himself to building a better world.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he wants to meet his childhood hero
