History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Kyle was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Kyle's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

History: Charles was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Dyer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Dyer and was forced into it by his family; and wishes to resurrect an old love
