Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Bowyer profession.

History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Shepherd work with an outfit from a few towns over. Shepherd work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Shepherd for hire.

Manfred fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He worked as a nervous Cartwright and found it very stressful. He has worked as a Cartwright like his mother before him.
