Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with music. He constantly tries to fill his life with music. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of gnolls may trigger it at times.

History: Justin hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered music. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it.

History: Born in the south to a Crown-heir, Gerard learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things; and wants to raise his children well

Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Hubert was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Sailor for the past few years.
