Description: He wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized pastel coat. He carries a battered scythe and tarnished crossbow as well. His black hair is greasy and uncared for. His eyes are a pleasant blue.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Charles embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Charles is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Charles fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.

Personality: He hates Humans with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Description: This man wears tight fighting clothing, which leaves very little to the imagination, and sports empty pouches on his belt. His long auburn hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. His blue eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Description: He is a husky man, who is wearing a long, red cloak. He wears his auburn hair up in a very large beehive style do. His face is scarred and worn.

Personality: He can speak with the recently deceased. He takes great joy in being the best Bowyer in town.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. Cory liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and wants to open a new tavern

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
