Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: He was born into a rich family. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

History: Adelard was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Painter work with an outfit from a few towns over. Painter work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.
