His mother taught him the rudiments of the Carpenter arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His mother worked until he suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. He had to support his now crippled mother and took his mother's old job. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: Geoffrey was raised in a hard working conservative environment. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Gardener for hire.

Description: An older man who wears a white shirt with thin green vertical stripes and white pants, he is not a threatening figure. He has shaved his head bald. His violet eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Jocelyn was orphaned to a temple shortly after his birth. He was raised by the temple staff to care always for others above himself and to hold his god always in his heart. Some 3 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Jocelyn never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He has never given up on his writing dream.

Personality: He is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, he's a very lovable idiot. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He found a children's book about a Human Expert who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the south; and wants to have a good time and be beloved
