History: Adam hails from a village terrorized by giants. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Anthony was born on a far western desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Fortune-teller. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Manfred grew up listening to his father's many stories. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times.
