History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Raymond was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. Some 6 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son.
