History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Born in the east to a Sage, Gerald learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. He has worked as a Sage like his mother before him.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
