History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Barber hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Theobald fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His childhood dream was to be a Mercenary, but he was a colossal failure. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Personality: In the realm of puns, he cannot help himself. He feels obliged to make them. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: Gilbert hails from a village terrorized by brigands. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his mother's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered brigands who tried to eat his hand. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many brigands want him driven away.
