History: Theodoric was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He found a children's book about a Human Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

History: Norman was born the youngest of three triplets. Ostracized due to the martial powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: Gifted from a young age, Bernard studied abroad. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He was granted necromantic powers by his dying brother.

History: Bertram was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Bellfounder. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance.
