Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Miller business.

History: He got into the Miller business at a young age. His childhood dream was to be a Fletcher, but he was a colossal failure. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He is obsessed with his god.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and regain custody of his son

History: He was raised in a plains tribe. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and balancing his hectic life and new scribe responsibilities is difficult
