History: Born to a Glassblower, his mother struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Tanner hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. The war was a terrible time for him, and Robert does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Robert was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. Gerard enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Gerard was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Gerard liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He's also a talented Bounty Hunter, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: He was born into a rich family. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Mason. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Mason responsibilities is difficult; and human compassion

History: Miles lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Miles abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains.
