Description: This slender man stands about 5'10". He wears just a blue suit. He has done his best to style his black hair to look like a famous performer. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines violet.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Miles embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Miles took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up sword and armor he uses now. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and he desires power and/or immortality

Personality: Raymond hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his singing career. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He has had some formal singing training, and achieved minor success. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and he seems to be bored by most things

Description: This eastern man wears rags and sports a simple walking cane. His clothes are grease stained in places. He is bald on top and has large chestnut tufts of hair around his ears. His hazel eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: Ernest is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Ernest was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle; and he wants to get laid

Description: This man stands a little under 6'5" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. He has wavy black hair. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He takes great joy in being the best Animal Trainer in town.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Expand his business; and balancing his hectic life and new animal trainer responsibilities is difficult
