History: Lance hails from a village terrorized by drow. His parents were killed by drow in a raid when he was still a young child. The drow captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Born to a Mason, his father struggled to pay the bills. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Tanner. In the meantime he has taken over work as a Tanner and occasionally as a mercenary.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His first spouse was a Dyer, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Ruler responsibilities is difficult; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Glassblower. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 7 years.

Motivation: He uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs; and he has money and likes to spend it

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Gerard was born on a far northern desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Unemployed. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.
