History: Born to a Carpenter, his mother struggled to pay the bills. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
